We hope you all had an enjoyable break and we welcome both new members as well as old members to kick off what should be another exciting year at AMSA.
On Thursday, January 21st, we will hold another Coffee Talk session just outside of Starbucks from 1-4 pm. There will be free coffee, you will be able to pick up your member t-shirts, and you will have the opportunity to pay dues, speak with AMSA officers, and find out more about what we have planned for the year.
We want to thank everyone for attending our kick-off meeting last Thursday. If turn-out is any indication of future success, we are off to a great start! We also want to congratulate three new AMSA members on their local sponsorships. These students demonstrated a salient interest in joining our group and were chosen based on their essay applications. A warm welcome is extended to Judeline Alce, Chris Chung, and Nadine Maharaj. Also back by popular demand, AMSA Coffee Chat will be held at the Starbucks on campus; Wednesday, October 14 from 1-3 pm. Stop by and grab a cup of coffee on us, chat, ask questions, and learn of our upcoming meetings and events. Shari Goldstein, the Pre-Professional Health Advisor will be present for an open Q & A session. We hope to see you all soon!
