Thanks to all those who were able to make it out to support AMSA in this year’s Relay for Life event. The experience was a huge success raising money for survivors of cancer, victims who have lost their lives to cancer, and research to fund programs that aim at discovering a cure for cancer. All the while, we had fun sharing the experience with others and look forward to participating in next year’s event.

The Gore Gallery will take place next Thursday the 29th at Coyote Jacks, 6:30-9:30pm. It is going to be completely different from previous years! If you are feeling creative and would like to contribute by making an informative display on medical oddities/unusual diseases or medically related artwork, it will be showcased at the event! Hope you guys are all haveing a great weekend 
On October 19-21 (monday-wednesday) and October 26-28 (monday-wednesday) of the week after from 1030am-2pm AMSA will have a table set up on the breezeway to promote The Breast Cancer Charity Fashion Show and The Gore Gallery (which I am very excited for !) and of course also to allow students to become more familiar with AMSA.
We will need at least 3-4 people to man the tables and volunteer hours will be given. If you can only do it for an hour thats cool too just let me know by emailing me back with the date(s) and time(s) you can be at the tables Bonus in doing this: a good opportunity to be involved with AMSA and get to know the members/officers !
We’ll be out there 1030am-2pm if you have questions or drop off membership fees/applications, gore gallery(!), breast cancer fashion show or just cause you want to say hi, we’ll take that too
